Catalano grew up in the mid '90s in Flushing, Queens.  She wrote and directed her first short in 2018, FANTASY PRONE, which premiered at NewFilmmakers NY. In 2024, she wrote, starred in & executive produced the comedy short, RAGING DOLL (alongside Yamaneika Saunders and Cathy Moriarty) which premiered at Dances With Films NY and won the Audience Award for Pilot Series. She has roles in FINDING TONY (2024) a basketball drama from Anthony Davis of the Lakers and  TO KILL A WOLF (2025)  which premiered at Edinburgh and will be in theaters this year.  She is an executive producer on Letia Solomon's, THE QUEEN, THE WITCH AND THE KNIGHT,  which is fiscally sponsored by Tribeca + Black Film Space.  She would describe herself as the Queens version of Daria  (the cartoon)  despite strangers constantly telling her "that she kinda reminds them of Lana Del Rey!!!" She thinks this is F*CKING FUNNY.
