As a self-taught screenwriter,  Jessica Catalano spent many years hoarding her scripts and avoiding the rejection of the film world by working in fashion and nightlife. After focusing on her sobriety,  she wrote and directed the short film Fantasy Prone, which premiered at NewFilmmakers New York in 2018. As of 2024, Catalano can be seen on screen in the basketball drama, Finding Tony, which was executive produced by Anthony Davis of the LA Lakers. She can also be seen in the teen runaway drama, To Kill A Wolf, which premiered at the 2024 Edinburgh Film Festival.  She is set to premiere Raging Doll, a short boxing comedy that she wrote, executive produced and starred in alongside Yamaneika Saunders and Cathy Moriarty.
